Ann Chiasson

Ann moved to Whistler in 1977, a time when few people had heard of the village and the only access to skiing was from the Creekside of Whistler Mountain. She wanted an alternative to the high-pressure business world of Toronto and Ottawa and moved west to create her own pressures and direction. Ann's desire to own her own real estate company came to fruition in 1985, when she purchased the Sea to Sky Real Estate Whistler office (founded in 1978). Today she also owns offices in Squamish and Pemberton and has been involved with RE/MAX since 2005.
Ann’s son Matt has joined the company and is actively involved with the China Gateway program while he develops his real estate career. 

Ann is a vital member of the Whistler community and has been recognized as Business-person of the Year by the Whistler Chamber of Commerce and was recognized by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver for her continued support for community initiatives by receiving the Realtor Care Award. She sits on the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation Board and is Vice Chair of the Whistler Film Festival.

Ann has travelled to China to engage RE/MAX Agents working for the new RE/MAX China Master Franchise Owners. This is an exciting program where Chinese RE/MAX Agents need ongoing information on Canadian Real Estate Opportunities to fulfill requests from their clients and Ann is at the forefront of that opportunity for RE/MAX Sea to Sky Real Estate.
